One thing I really liked about growing up in Israel is the evenings when we will get together for not particular reason and tell each other jokes for few hours. Of cause not all jokes are blog-worthy, but here is one:
UNESCO decide to call people around the world and ask them the same question: "EXCUSE ME SIR, WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE MEAT SHORTAGE IN THE WORLD?" They call India first and the response comes back: "What is meat?.." They give up and call a different country, this time the Soviet Union (it is an old joke..) and ask the same question, to which the response is: "What is opinion?." OK, they get quiet desperate so they call someone in the US and ask the same question, to which the guy replies: "What's shortage?..." Finally they call a guy in Israel and asked him the same question, to which the Israeli guy replies:.. What is "excuse me sir?"
