Carmel Akman from Kibbutz Bar-Am in the far north of Israel is one of my favorite young Israeli singers. She is serving in the army now, so you won't hear much about her. You can see her (after some commercials) in her first audition somewhere in the Galilee mountains, and then few weeks later in the "Star is Born" competition in the song "Like a Crazy Bird" (I think I have already mentioned her before, but it is worth listening to her again).
